How to Install Scoop on Windows
Introductory guide on installing Scoop
Scoop is a command-line installer for Windows machines.
To install Scoop you will need Powershell version 5.1 or later. You can run the following commands in a Powershell Terminal to install Scoop:
> Set-ExecutionPolicy RemoteSigned -Scope CurrentUser
# ^Optional: Needed to run a remote script the first time
> irm get.scoop.sh | iexInstalling Scoop using Powershell

Scoop Instructions
Scoop makes a shim for each terminal application in the ~\scoop\shims directory. These are like command-line shortcuts that can be accessed in your PATH. Scoop also makes a program shortcut in the ‘Scoop Apps’ Start menu folder for every graphical application that you install. This is an important distinction that helps you keep track of where your tools are located.
